How much does a custom car show display board cost?
Digital design files start at $99. Printed 18x24 Cruise Night boards start at $229, 24x36 Signature boards at $299, Signature + A-frame packages at $499, and premium Concours aluminum-composite boards at $599.
Why is the Signature board $299?
It includes custom vehicle-specific design, standard photo cleanup, layout, owner proofing, production setup, and the printed 24x36 3 mm matte PVC board. We do not start from a pre-selected theme.
What sizes are available?
The two core printed sizes are 18x24 and 24x36 vertical. The 18x24 is the compact Cruise Night format; the 24x36 Signature gives more room for storytelling and technical detail.
What is the 24x36 Signature board made from?
The Signature board is printed on 3 mm matte PVC. The premium Concours option uses a rigid aluminum-composite substrate.
How fast can you turn a board around?
Initial proofs are typically provided within 24 hours after usable materials are received. Signature printing is typically completed within 48 hours after approval. Shipping time is separate, and premium-substrate timing is confirmed with the project.
What information should be included?
Year, make, model, engine, performance specifications, restoration or build details, rare options, production information, awards, ownership history, and personal details that explain why the vehicle matters.
Can you help research vehicle specifications?
Yes. We can help organize and research relevant specifications, but the owner reviews and approves all vehicle information before final production.
How many photos are needed?
One strong main photo is the best starting point. Engine, interior, badge, restoration, and historical images can help shape the story when they add useful information.
What photo resolution do you need?
Send the largest original camera files you have. Original files are preferred over screenshots or social-media downloads. There is no single minimum pixel number that guarantees a usable hero image because crop and enlargement needs vary.
What photo cleanup is included?
Standard isolation, background cleanup, basic color/exposure work, and design preparation are included. Heavily damaged or difficult archival images may require separately quoted advanced restoration.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. Show Car Display Boards is based on Long Island, New York, and serves vehicle owners nationwide. Shipping time is separate from design and production time.
What should I do if my printed board arrives damaged?
Photograph the shipping package, packing materials, and damaged board before discarding anything, then contact us promptly. Confirmed production or transit damage is reviewed for the appropriate remedy.
What happens if I request a change after approving the proof?
Please review all content carefully before approval. Customer-requested changes after approval or production may require a paid reprint; confirmed production errors are reviewed separately.
How should I care for and store the board?
Keep the board clean, dry, and protected from abrasion. Store it flat or properly supported, avoid prolonged pressure against the printed face, and avoid extreme heat. Use a stable stand appropriate to the board and event conditions.
Can I add an A-frame display stand?
Yes. The Show Package pairs the 24x36 Signature board with an A-frame and starts at $499.
Do you offer a carrying case?
Yes. Protective carrying cases start at $49 and are quoted based on board size and order requirements.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes. A $299 Signature Board gift certificate lets the recipient work directly with us to create a board around their own vehicle.
Do I pay when I submit the Start My Board form?
No payment is taken through the form. We confirm the project, package, timing, and payment instructions before design work begins.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, ACH bank transfers, and cash.
Can a display board help during judging?
A board does not replace event rules, but it can help judges and spectators quickly understand important restoration details, rare options, factory equipment, and build decisions.
